We just got a new GPS in time for a trip to Maryland for a family reunion.
The girls were entranced by the cute little blue car icon on the screen, but felt it was lacking a little something…
Babble of twin toddlers from rear seat: Daddy, make the blue car MOVE!
Daddy: I can’t, it’s just a GPS.
Twins: MAKE THE BLUE CAR MOVE, DADDY!!!!!
Mommy: They don’t understand what a GPS is, honey.
Twins: WAAAAHHHH!!!! SSSHHHRRREEEIIIKKKK!!!!! WAAAIIILLLL!!!
M: Girls, Daddy drives our grey van, he doesn’t drive the little blue car.
Zanna: Mommy, make the blue car move!
Halle: MAKE IT MOVE! MAKE IT MOVE!
M: Girls, I’m not driving the blue car either.
Twins: …..(They’re thinking about this.)….But we want it to MOVE!
M: Well, why don’t you ask it nicely?
Z: (In her sweetest voice,) Blue car, you want to move, Blue car?
H: IT’S WORKING!!! IT’S MOVING!!!
Twins: HOORAYYY!!!! IT’S MOVING!!!
Z: It answered, Mommy!
