Mixbook Leather Covered Photobook Review/Giveaway!

Last year I did a review and giveaway of a basic Mixbook photobook.

And recently, Mixbook offered me the chance to do it again – but with their snazzy new LEATHER COVER photobooks!

Of course I said yes!

In addition to their regular photobooks, they’ve added the leather covered ones as well. As nice as the regular ones are, adding the leather cover and dust jacket really makes it stand out as an excellent gift – and that’s just what we did.

Bubbe (my girls’ grandmother, a.k.a. my mom) was duly gifted with one of these elegant looking photobooks and she really liked it alot! (I was rather proud of it, myself! )

In addition to the leather covers Mixbook is offering, they’ve made other changes to their photobook process – before you could only use the stickers for a particular theme, but now – you can use any of the stickers from any of the themes!!

And I made good use of that in a yearbook-type photobook of the twins’ Summer and Autumn 2011. You can see what I mean below:

Mixbook still has the easiest-to-use user interface that I’ve seen, and the level of customization and control it gives you, over how your pics are displayed, make this the most painless photobooking experience I’ve ever had!

The Owwie Song

On the plus side, Halle has composed a song my honor titled “The Owwie Song”. It’s about how she wishes mommy’s owwie arm would stop hurting.

It goes like this:

“Owwie go away, owwie go away, don’t come back any more, mommy’s arm feel better, owwie go away.”

She sang it three times to me today.

Zanna who recentry has decided cuddling is not her favorite pastime, very sweetly cuddled up to my good side and gave me kisses, as I moaned in pain on the sofa today.

Even my husband is typing this for me.

On the other hand, my neck and spine are a bit messed up and I can barely use my right arm because it hurts so darn much.

Sooo… I’m taking a break from the blog for about a week until this gets better (hopefully) in hopes that I can avoid surgery.

The Owwie Song
